LepreCon traditionally has a very strong Gaming Hall and Westercon 70 plans on keeping up that tradition by dedicating the entire Abbey to gaming throughout the convention. That’s 3,620 square feet of Gaming Hall, folks!
Our gaming track will be branded CONflagration, because that was the name of the standalone gaming convention that Leprecon, Inc. mounted in 2012 and which has continued on as LepreCon’s gaming track.
Westercon 70’s Game Coordinator is Captain Earl C. Hedges, Jr. You can contact him at firstname.lastname@example.org.

So people can enjoy CONflagration, we have worked with Game Masters, Dungeon Masters and Demonstration Teams to provide games to play.
Sign Ups will be necessary as seating for these events will be limited to 6 or 7 people per table in 4 to 6 hour blocks. All you have to do is sign up for the games you want to play.
- Game sign up will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Once sign ups are full, additional names will be put on an alternate list.
- Full, closed events will seat those on the sign up lists first, followed by those on the alternate list, should anyone on the initial sign up list not be able to attend.
- We will take special requests on a case by case basis for those that wanted to play and did not get a chance to by scheduling a special session for them with one of the Gaming Staff. However, be advised we will not be able to honor all special requests as we may not be able to run extra sessions for every event.
Common Questions that people are asking of me this year:
Q: So what if someone signs up for multiple games, then doesn’t show?
A: Then we go to an alternate, hence the alternate sign up list.
Q: What if the above person is playing in multiple games and no one else is getting to play?
A: We will address any issues during the convention. I will be personally fine tuning programming options as necessary to give everyone a fair chance to play and to ensure that everyone gets a chance to play.
If anyone has more questions, feel free to e-mail me at email@example.com. I will do my best to respond in a timely manner.
Your Game Coordinator, Captain Earl C. Hedges Jr.
Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator lets you turn your living room into the bridge of a spaceship. You and your friends assume the jobs of Captain, Helm, Science, Communication, Engineering and Weapon Control. Together you operate your ship and defend the sector from evil aliens.
Artemis simulates a spaceship bridge by networking several computers together. One computer runs the simulation and the “main screen”, while the others serve as workstations for the normal jobs a bridge officer might do. Artemis is a social game where several players are together in one room (“bridge”) and, while they all work together, one player plays the Captain, a person who sits in the middle, doesn’t have a workstation, and tells everyone what to do.
CONflagration offers Game Masters and players a chance to game all weekend long! We’re currently looking for GMs who can run tabletop and live action role playing games, boardgames, stand alone or collectible card games and miniatures games.
Game with new people. Make new friends. Tell new stories. Visualize new scenes.
Conventions are a great place to meet new gamers and help strengthen the hobby. If you’d like to run a game, please e-mail our Game Coordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
