Charity Auction

It is our pleasure to announce that Westercon 70 will be holding a Charity Auction to benefit the Challenger Space Center in Peoria, Arizona. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to the space center. Keep checking back often as new items are being added all the time!

Challenger Space Center, located in Peoria, Arizona, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit institution that provides programs to help children understand the importance of math, science and technology along with teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and decision-making. Their high-tech, high-touch programs are molding the community and workforce leaders of the future. Donations are vital to keep these programs available.

We guarantee everyone who shows up will have a good time and plenty of opportunity to bid on and take home cool stuff. We’ll have books galore, space and science items, fantasy art, collectible art, and lots of film memorabilia. Everything will be on display in the art show until the auction begins.

There will be ‘Charity Auction Program Guides’ available at registration. The auction itself is currently scheduled for Saturday – please check back for the exact time and place.

If you wish to donate, please contact Catherine Book (our tireless Charity Auction Director) at charityauction@westercon70.org.
